Coming from a strong family heritage, and being passionate about the health benefits of CBD, Alexandra and Lady A CBD are the perfect partner brand for Molecule; we both share the same mission of wanting to improve people’s health and wellbeing with the use of CBD oil and CBD products.
Alexandra Dunhill is the great-granddaughter of Alfred Dunhill, who in 1893, aged just 21, established the eponymous luxury men’s goods company, Dunhill. Opening stores in New York, Paris and Mayfair, Alfred was a pioneer within the modern luxury goods market. Following in her great grandfather’s footsteps, Alexandra has similar ambitions and design credentials - only hers are for the women’s health and wellbeing market.
Alexandra Dunhill first came across CBD in 2017 whilst visiting her eldest son in Los Angeles. Blown away by how different he was after taking CBD for his anxiety, Alexandra spent the rest of her trip touring the various CBD stores in LA and was amazed to see how many different brands and products were out there. Yet none seemed aimed at women.
Upon returning to England and inspired with a clear mission, Alexandra spent the next two years researching into all things CBD. It was important to find the right team of scientists and experts to help create and develop the perfect CBD products that help women benefit from the natural healing benefits of CBD. Using premium CBD hemp extract, natural botanical extracts and essential oils, Lady A products are designed to help alleviate the stresses, strains and worries of modern life in a simple, stylish manner.
“With my children grown up, I needed a new challenge - one that I was passionate about and that would help people in some way. I’ve deliberately started small as want to hear what the Lady A woman wants next and tailor future products to the women who will use them. With the CBD industry predicted to be worth around £1 billion by 2025, my aim is to make Lady A the trusted, go-to brand for women who want to use CBD as part of their everyday wellness routine without any stigma”.
The Lady A packaging is also designed by Alexandra Dunhill, merging both her love of well-being and art, creating a stylish, sensual range of Lady A products and packaging aimed at women with style.
“Design has always been a huge part of my life and I love and appreciate excellence in all fields. From styling interiors to painting with oils, I love to experiment with colour, texture and contrast. Painting is my first love and marbling is something I’ve done whenever I needed to step back from the world and lose myself in the swirls. I wanted to bring my design sensibilities and a real sensory feel to Lady A to give it that luxe, intimate feel,” explains Alexandra Dunhill.
