Yoga found me in 2013 and it was a case of love at first flow. Having attended classes for many years I became increasingly aware of the physical and mental benefits of a regular yoga practise. Being naturally drawn to HIIT and other high energy exercises such as spinning I found myself frequenting vinyasa classes across London.
Only when I began to take a deeper look into Ayurveda (the ancient healing science of life) and the chakra system (our soul's map) did I understand the different requirements to balance my mind, body and soul enabling me to really reap the benefits of this application to yoga.I am a firm believer that you cannot heal the mind without addressing the body too. By using the body and breath to move blockages and imbalances around the body I believe that my approach can aid in helping my clients gain a better understanding of themselves. I apply my knowledge of Ayurveda and the psychology of the chakras to inform how I build my flows. Everybody is different, every mind is unique and by accepting this we can harness our own individual strengths and finely tune our being to flow with more grace and less friction in this ever changing world.
My group classes are dynamic and interesting, and always to music. Sometimes I even include a cheeky element of HIIT workouts to strengthen and stabilise the core. Be prepared to sweat and smile throughout!
