The Coronavirus has led to a massive change in our working lives. 

Working from home is now the new normal, which has been a mixture of ups and downs for many. There’s the obvious perks of not having to commute and having more time with the family. However feelings of stress, boredom, anxiety and uncertainty are also having an impact.

The pandemic has meant little contact with the outside world, and as lockdown is easing, the thought and worry of going back into the working environment can be daunting. That said, for many of us, working from home will remain, so it’s important to ensure that we are looking after our wellbeing as much as possible.

There are a few simple things you can be doing to ensure that your working day runs well and that you are being kind to yourself. We’ve paired this with some of our team’s favourite CBD products, to help you bring a little more balance into your day.

Routine is key:

Without a structure in your day, the lines between work and personal time can get blurred and be stressful to get right. It’s important to try to follow your normal sleep and work patterns where you can, and stay consistent. Get up at the same time, eat breakfast, and get dressed, don't sit around in your pyjamas all day. Try scheduling in your "commute time" and spend it walking or exercising if you can.

It’s also really important that your workday stops when it should. Shut down, stop checking emails and focus on your home life. And at the end of the day, try to get to bed at your usual time

Schedule, plan and diarise:

Try to maintain the same routine as you would in the office, plan your day in advance, and remember to take breaks. Working from home can make you feel like you need to be available all the time, and can add more stress to your day.

Create a dedicated Workspace:

It’s important that you have a dedicated workspace in the house. When we live and work in the same space, it can create anxiety and stop us from being able to focus.

Stay connected:
